On Sunday, September 1, 2024, Warren Louis Crowe “His Eagle Whistle” age 70, passed away with his loving wife at his side after a long battle with cancer in Great Falls, Montana. Warren was born August 27, 1954, in Poplar, Montana to Beatrice Rosanna Redwood. Warren attended school in Poplar, Montana, and was a devout Poplar Indian. He later transitioned to Wolf Point High School where he met his lifelong best friends, Jimmy Johnson and Mike LaFloe, and graduated in 1972. Warren attended Fort Peck Community College and graduated with his General Education and Business degree in 1982. He additionally attended Rocky Mountain College where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Cum Laude in business economics in 1993.
In his younger years, he enjoyed playing football and legion baseball where his team managed to go to state two years in a row. Warren was known for his spontaneous and comical attitude. He enjoyed creating mischief with all of his brothers. He met his wife, Kathy in Poplar, Montana. They married on June 16, 1989. From this union, one child was born and one shared, Travis Crowe and Heather Demko. Warren’s pride and joy were his grandchildren: Taylee, Grayson, Abigail, Jack, and Lydia. He loved watching them play, attending all gymnastics meet, and taking them to the park and the library to get ice cream. Warren had several nieces and nephews he was close to and loved dearly. He loved them all and was a truly devout family man.
Warren was a hard worker all his life, he worked for the Seattle Dept of Education for one year in 1994. Shortly after in 1995, he returned to Glasgow, Montana. Warren and his wife soon moved to Great Falls in 1998 where he started working for the USPS until 2016, when he retired and spent the rest of his days caring for his beloved grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Redwood, grandmother Florence Redwood Ricker, father-in-law, Jack Demko, brothers: Quentin “Butch” Crow, Richard “Dickie” Crow, Leonard Crow, and Robert Belton.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Crowe, mother-in-law Darlene Demko, daughter Heather Demko and grandson Grayson, son Travis, and his wife Brianna, and their four children: Taylee, Abigail, Jack, and Lydia. Brothers: Babes “Bill” and Marla Prichard, Ronald Lee “Stinker” Crowe, Mike Crow; sisters: Rhonda Mason and Terry Lindsey Barron, and his lifelong best friends, Jim (Linda) Johnson and Mike “Pepe La Pew” LaFloe. Warren was loved by his family and he was loved by his friends who became extended family.
