It’s me Devin, I knew Roger Moran. It was one of my dad’s best friends. Used to hunt with him. The time that I remember hunting with Roger Moran was when we went up antelope hunting. It was so much fun. We went out to early breakfast that morning had a cafe in Glasgow. I can’t remember what the name it was, but He’d be definitely miss very much. And I will miss him with all my heart and life will be different without him and also I now I know what he’s up and heaven with Dennis weathern. Um, that’s my foster, dad. He just recently passed away back in July of this year on the 29th, so, but now they’re out there hunting and fishing, whatever having a good time and I just wanted to say my piece and and And everything so he will be miss dearly. So all right, Roger Moran, go get those bucks.

My dad John Lecarno was good friends with Roger. I heard so much about Roger from my dad. I wish I got to meet him.
Sara LeCarno says
I grew up listening to my dad, John LeCarno, tell stories of him and Roger and all the adventures they had while growing up together as children. Most of it mischief! I heard those stories over and over again. They never got old, nor will they ever. Roger was responsible for the high points of my dad’s childhood and I know how much he meant and will continue to mean to him. I feel very blessed and incredibly grateful that they were able to reconnect last summer on a surprise drop-in visit and that I had pleasure of meeting him in person after 35 years worth of stories!

My heart breaks for his family and close friends i was his grocery store friend we would joke about that all the time. He was so excited when he got his fancy red truck. Hey you gotta come check out my new truck he says, I followed him outside and he said ain’t she pretty I said yup but red? He said yeah why not I said cause your more likely to get a speeding ticket in it he just laughed and said oh well this old fart doesn’t drive that fast I said you will now. Always had a smile on his face great chats about cars dogs and fish. Gonna miss him I waved at him a couple weeks ago when he crossed paths. Rest easy sending healing thoughts to his family and close friends.
John G. LeCarno says
Roger was my best friend while growing up. As kids, we scouted the hills around Glasgow with our slingshots, .22’s etc. and of course the bigger armament for the larger game. We would spend the night at each other’s houses doing whatever adolescent kids did in those days. We played Little League / Babe-Ruth together and eight years at St. Raphael. He was the Best Man at my wedding. Now it seems to have been so many things in so little time. During the summer of 2023 I was in Glasgow with my daughters and was able to visit Roger. Even though it was for only a few hours, I am so grateful to have been able to see him again. I have spoken to my kids about Roger and our adventures countless times… to them he Is a legend. To me he remains to be my very best friend… Rest In Peace, Roger.
