In Memory Of

Rebecca L. Buckles, 69, of Glasgow, Montana

September 30, 1951 – February 23, 2021

Rebecca Lynn Buckles, 69, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Glasgow, Montana.

Becky was born September 30, 1951 in Tacoma, Washington to the late Gene and Edna Sullivan. She was the youngest of four children.

Becky married Dave Buckles on August 7, 1974 and one child was born from this union.  Becky had a wonderful knack for solving problems and could fix just about anything, no challenge was ever too hard.  She truly lived life to the fullest: through simple pleasures, chatting with family and friends and most importantly spending time with her only daughter and grandchildren. Fishing on the lake and any sport her grandchildren chose to participate in were the most important things. She was truly the ultimate mother and grandmother, not only to her own but too many.

Becky had an amazing ability to care and love everyone.  She currently worked for Home Health Care where her family and love of caring for people became even larger.

Becky is survived by her brothers, Jim (Leslie) Sullivan and their two children and three beautiful grandchildren of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Robert Sullivan of Wolf Point, Montana; daughter, Nicole Buckles of Glasgow Montana; grandchildren, Sady Billbruck and Skye Buckles; great-grandchildren, Cambell Youngman, Stella Fisher and a baby girl on the way in April.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Edna Sullivan; brother, Larry Sullivan and her first grandson, Zach Buckles.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. Condolences may be left for the family at bellmortuaryglasgow.com.  A celebration of life  held at a later date when the weather is warm and it’s time to fish.  “We will meet you under the bridge ready to catch the big one.  You will be missed more than we could ever express, love you to the moon and back.”
