Mary JoAnn Miller, 78, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at her home in Glasgow, Montana.
JoAnn was born October 30, 1940 in Culbertson, Montana to Evron and Maxine (McCormick) Shuman. She grew up and graduated from Wolf Point, Montana in 1958.
JoAnn married Richard Miller on February 23, 1960 and three children: Rick, Darla and Dan.
JoAnn loved to have fun and was always the life of the party. You never knew what she was going to say or do, but it was always wild and crazy. Her biggest passion was her family and her seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She always made sure to go to all their events. She enjoyed going to church, playing cards, having lunch with her “Cackling Hens” friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Evron and Maxine; son, Rick Miller and brother, Bud Shuman.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Darla (Gregg) Russell; son, Dan (Joyce) Miller; seven grandchildren, Jeff Grewe, Mandi Grewe, Peri Russell, Sarah Miller, Ryan Smith, Parker Miller, Mason Miller; three great-grandchildren Leo, Laynee and Kodi Bakeburg; sisters, Edna (Gene) Songer and Margaret (Jim) Thomas; sister-in-law Judy Shuman; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held later this summer. Condolences may be left at bellmortuaryglasgow.com.
