Kathryn – what a lovely person! From the time I became acquainted with her (being a classmate and friend of Terrence – rip luv), she was always so kind to me. It brightened my day anytime that I happened to see Kathryn, and we would catch up about this and that. She endured some tragic hardships during her lifetime, but always seemed so strong and persevered. RIP sweet lady. Tan (Mason) Leckie

Andrea Johnston Dobbs says
Remembering Kathryn and Joyce on many visits with them in Nashua – especially when Uncle Claude came home to say his goodbyes and he visited with them – Cherney family farmed near the Brost place and told Claude how to get there – was wonderful to hear them chat about the days on the farms north of Nashua. Yes Tan – your writings about her and unlimited hardships she endured especially caring for Joyce in his last years – was so insightful of you – condolences to the Cherney family.
