Dear Sean, Danielle, Kathy and family: Joe was my first cousin and actually babysat my sister, Michelle, while my mom and dad (Margaret and Francis) were at the hospital delivering me. Joe lived with us while working for my dad for a short time. He was also the Flagman at all the stock car races. He knew the rules and did a great job. He was proud to be a part of such a loving family. In later years, I only saw Joe at funerals or once in awhile a family reunion since I live 500 miles away. I’m so sorry I can’t be there today, but I’ve missed a lot of work since we have had so many deaths in the family in the past year. My thoughts are with you. I know what is like to lose a father and that sadness will never go away. Enjoy the memories, they are many!! Take care, your cousin, Rhonda.
