Joyce Kaplan says
Gordon was a lovely man. He loved his family very much and spent as much time with them as he could. Having spent a lot of time on an uncle’s farm as a boy, he loved the ranch life. He loved being outside, fixing anything that needed it. He was expert at fixing almost everything around the ranch where we lived for 15 years. He also loved to dance and music was a joy to him. It was a pleasure knowing him and loving him.

Mark D Sorlie says
Gordon was a wonderful uncle. In his 90s, he would call me early in the morning and tell me that he would be here in Billings for lunch. He would arrive at 11. That’s a 4 hour drive on Montana highways. I believe he also drove to California and to Seattle in his 90s. He would stop in Conrad to visit my sister, Donna Warwick. He was a kind and pleasant man. This world is a better place because Gordon was here.

Thank you Cynthia for the voicemail telling me of Gordon’s passing. I always enjoyed his stories of his road trip adventures when he’d come to Wolf Point for a haircut. He was a great guy! Condolences to your family.
