Georgia Ann “Sam” Bledsoe, was born February 11, 1951 and peacefully crossed into Heaven September 21, 2024. She was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, aunt and friend.
She was born to Clarence “Jack” and Lupe Kochendorfer in Baraboo, Wisconsin. As the oldest child she welcomed three brothers and a sister into the family.
Sam was a loving mother to four sons and two daughters, but she was most proud of her 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In May of 1999, she married her soulmate and love of her life, Steve Bledsoe.
Sam worked as a manger for Parkview Apartments in Great Falls and Albertson’s of Glasgow. She enjoyed her sewing cross-stitch, watching old westerns, playing Bingo and any that was grandkid related.
She is preceded in death by her father; brothers, Jay and Jackie; sister, Betty and sons, Rocky Joe and Eric. Sam is survived by her husband, Steve; mother, Lupe; brothers, Rocky and William; sons, Ronald and Robert; daughter, Stacie (Shane) Rhoads and Christina; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Bell Mortuary, with burial in Highland Cemetery followed by a reception at the Cottonwood Inn. Condolences may be left for the family at bellmortuarymontana.com
