My warmest condolences and thoughts go out to Harold. I am saddened by the news. I was able to meet Erma and Harold here in Billings, where I worked for a short time earlier this year. I never have seen and will ever see a greater love than what those two had for each other and their sons. I’m glad to have helped Harold give Erma a special Mother’s Day this year. He loved her so much. I will miss her much and the love those two shared will live in my heart and mind forever and the commitment they showed. I wish I could attend. They both reminded me so much my grandparents.

We visited Park Grove when we were in area for a wedding October 8. All four of us have such fond memories of both Erma and Harold. Erma was the sweetest lady, best cook and always so thoughtful. It was a treat when mom and dad were still living to go down for supper.
God bless all of you. She lived a full life.

Dear Family of Erma Brown,
When Pete and I were raising our family we spent time at our mobile home which was parked at Park Grove Campground. We would go there on occasional weekends in the summer, always stopping at Park Grove Cafe for our evening meal. Dear Erma would smilingly take the order of our family of two adults and five very young whippersnappers. Oh, how I now look back and love that woman. As the years went by I learned more and more of her’s and Harold’s family and the life situations with which they learned to live. Erma and Harold have been the type of people on which the goodness in America has been built. I’m grateful to have had their acquaintance.
Sincerely, Joy Schuster
