Elsie Edna (Math) Jacobs, 73, Glasgow MT formerly of Whitewater MT, died Wednesday morning September 16th at Valley View nursing home Glasgow MT. Elsie was born on January, 18th 1942 to the late Henry and Edna Math. Elsie was raised and went to a country school she graduated from Whitewater. Within that time she met Wayne Leon Jacobs who on January, 21st 1958 became her beloved husband. In those 57 years together they enjoyed farming and ranching at the Jacobs homestead in Whitewater MT, where four strong sons were born to them. In life Elsie was a great person who was loved by all. She loved spending time with family and friends, when people came over they never left on an empty stomach, she always loved to cook every chance she got, she made goodie plates for the elderly at the nursing homes. Elsie mostly loved to make gifts by crocheting. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren by planting flowers in her garden, baking goodies, painting, and drawing. She was very active in 4-H and loved to help out in any way she could.
Elsie is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Wayne Jacobs; four sons, Clarence (Irene) Jacobs, Clinton (Cindy) Jacobs, Dale (Lori) Jacobs, and Wesley (Michelle) Jacobs; a brother, Ben (Barb) Math; a sister, Helen (Loren) Schell; seven grand-children, six step grand-children, nine great-grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, two aunts Jenny Fewer and Betty Siewing, and a brother in law Francis (Delores) Jacobs.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father in law, two sisters in law, and a step great-grandson.
