Eldon Richard Lee, 71 of Glasgow, Montana passed away on May 25, 2023, after a long battle with a terminal illness.
Eldon was born in Plentywood, Montana on November 6, 1951, to Reubin and Norma (Glover) Lee. When he was a young boy, his family moved to Glasgow, Montana: the town that Eldon called home for the rest of his life. After graduating from Glasgow High School, Eldon attended the Billings Vo-Tech School before returning to Glasgow. He met his wife, Donna, who had moved to Glasgow from Bellingham, Washington to start her teaching career. Eldon and Donna married in 1975 and had three children together: Jennifer, Jason, and Daniel.
Eldon worked as the manager of United Building Center for a number of years before starting his own business, Lee’s Electric Tool Repair. He was a natural tinkerer, so this career change suited him perfectly. For Eldon, this was as much a career as it was a hobby, as much a workshop as it was a playground.
In addition to fixing tools and appliances, Eldon enjoyed house and yardwork, keeping the birds around his home well-fed, Making homemade jerky, playing card games on his computer, and watching engineering videos on YouTube.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Jennifer; sons Jason and Daniel; granddaughter Elivia Mitchell-Lee; mother, Norma; brother Marlan (Brenda); sister Brenda (Pete) Turok, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Reubin and brother Tracy.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 26 at First Lutheran Church in Glasgow, Montana with Pastor Scott Kiehn officiating, burial will take place in Highland Cemetery. In remembrance of Eldon’s life, his family asks that a charitable donation in his honor be made to the First Lutheran Church’s accessibility projects or the charity of your choice.
