Benjamin Lee Overaker, 45, passed away November 1, 2022 in Billings, Montana.
Ben was born June 9, 1977 in Lewistown, Montana to Richard and Mary (Biehl) Overaker. He attended Special Education classes a Billings West High School, living with his foster mother, Gerry Dorian, from 1989- 1996. In 1996 Ben moved to Glasgow to live at Milk River’s Mitchell Group Home. While in Glasgow, he worked at the Activity Center doing laundry. Ben enjoyed washing boxes and going on laundry runs. He participated in the Special Olympics.
Ben was a kind man. He was the official Milk River Greeter. He would greet you by straightening your shirt, rings or glasses.
Ben was nonverbal, but he made his presence known. Ben enjoyed the simpler pleasure in life: going for walks, puzzles and sitting in the sun in his back yard, but his favorite thing was going on rides to get a treat of ice cream or M&M’s.
Ben is survived by his family at Milk River Inc.
A Celebration of Ben’s Life will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Bell Mortuary with Pastor Bonnie Novak officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Glasgow. Condolences may be left at bellmortuarymontana.com.

I did not know this young man but oh my, what a special person he must have been just by reading his obituary, I believe God puts these special people in our lives to teach us just how special a person can be. He couldnt speak but I am assuming he got his point across most of the time. What a blessing.
