Baika Cassel, age 27, of Glasgow, Montana

May 4, 1994 – December 6, 2021

Baika Cassel was born May 4, 1994 in Bangkok, Thailand to Sayarm Puengudom and Som Amorn. She was the third sibling in the family having two older brothers. The family grew up in ChiangRai, the most northern province of Thailand.
She started her education as a homeschooler taught by her mother Som, then went to Montessori school in ChaingRai where she found her love in the art of cooking and baking.
After high school, she attended Mahidol University in the NaKonPatom province for one year in Graphic Design and moved on to study in Le Cordon Bleu the French Culinary and Hospitality Institute where she received Diplomas of Pastries and Confectionary. She was also certified in Nutrition Therapy from Oxford College in a distance study program.
Baika loved and enjoyed passing her knowledge and skills to others. She was also very good with looking after small kids, so in 2012 she opened a cooking school for children called “Cook Cool Kids Cooking School” in the largest shopping mall, Siam Paragon, in the Bangkok city center.
In 2015 she opened another cooking school which emphasized the combination of traditional and modern styles of cooking and baking.  The school is named “Fit Bakery: Healthy Baking School”
In 2016 Baika met Dillon at one of the martial art gyms in Bangkok and they became husband and wife in 2018.  They continued to live in Bangkok and grow their businesses there for another 3 years.

With concern of the Covid-19 pandemic continuing in Bangkok, they decided to move back to Glasgow, Montana on October 26, 2021 the city where Dillion’s family lives.
Baika is one of the famous fitness influencers in Thailand.  She always spread vibes of joyfulness and kindness, and inspired people to be proud of who they are.

Family will receive friends Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 3-5:00 p.m. at Bell Mortuary.  Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 13, 2021 at Bell Mortuary with Pastor Tom Fauth officiating. Condolences may be left for the family at bellmortuaryglasgow.com.

  11. I first met Baika when I was in 6th grade. She was a lively girl and still is. I enjoyed every sleepovers we had. She seems so soft yet she is a very determined woman. What I remember about Baika is that she have always been such a good friend.

  12. I have been friends with Som for so long now. She is my sis. Through her I have watched the children blossom into honourable adults. Baika was raised by an angel in Sister Som. words will never be enough to express my pain and the thought of what my sis is feeling right now. Angels will keep Baika safe now.   45. I had a chance to work and get to know her 8 years ago because I worked with her brother, P’Faisai. Baika is one of the best people I’ve ever known in my whole life. She’s always kind to others and I always remember the first time I’ve met her at her brother studio in Bangkok. I never forget that smile. She gave me a lot of lipsticks and we went to sell second-hand clothes together at the Train Night Market Jatujuk in Bangkok. Even though I didn’t keep in touch with her for a long time but I’m always admired her success. I believe wherever she is right now those places will definitely full of happiness because of her attitudes. I will remember you forever, Baika and you should know you are inspired me a lot in the past and until now.

  49. I had only just met Biaka and Dillon a short time ago through a video chat we had in September. What impressed me about both of them was their exuberance at the time and the ease with which we all conversed. I felt like I had known them a much longer time. We had a discussion filled with warmth and humor, which in todays world is a often rare thing. I became more familiar with Biaka through her baking and workout videos as well as Som’s posts and pictures. I was looking forward to getting to know them both in person. My heart has been heavy for both families and I am at a loss for better words. I hold you all in my heartfelt thoughts, prayers. Peace be with you all at this time of sorrow and remembrance.
