Dearest Abba,
You are so loved. You were the watcher, the shepherd, the teacher for so many. I know you are in glory now, seeing our Heavenly Father face-to-face. I want to thank you for your example and your love. You will be missed beyond words. Thank you for your labor of love that you leave behind for generations to come. Still hope to meet you in the clouds, but if not, see you at the gates! I will forever treasure the memory of “The Little Soul”, the beautiful soul. ‘Til we meet, pray for us.
Mary says
Dear Abba,
you were a voice crying out in the wilderness for all of us and a source of good counsel to us ever alerting us to the signs of the times in which we live. With ever patient loving kindness, you did all in your power to guide us along the right paths. You read and recorded Sacred Scripture passages for us and explained the meaning of each. In you benevolent and fatherly way you offered us your prayers, guidance and every good thing which overflowed from the bountiful generosity and goodness of your heart. As the day God called you home drew nearer your messages to us, and for us, grew louder and more frequent. Deep in your heart and soul you knew the Master was coming for you very soon and for the rest of us soon, for time on Earth is short. Dear Abba you exhorted us to be ready at every moment and as we mourn your loss we know that those exhortations will ring in our hearts until The Master calls each of us in our turn. Thank you for being a shining beacon of hope and wise sage to all of us. May you, Dear Abba Anthony Curley, rejoice in your Eternal reward and remember us still, before the Throne of God. Here on the Earth we will carry you forwards in our hearts and prayers. God bless you Dear Abba Anthony, throughout all Eternity. Rest In Peace,”Little Soul.” Amen

Fr. Anthony Curley had touched my life in so many ways. I thank the Lord for allowing me to have him as my spiritual guide when I needed him the most. He always seemed to have the right words when I faced difficult decisions. St. John Vianney describes a priest as “He who is not for himself, he is for you.” That is how I will always remember Father Anthony. May his memory be eternal, and may God grant him mercy and rest among the Saints.

Dear Friends of Abba Anthony,
I have known Abba Anthony for a good ten years at least, and every time we met he was warm smiling, gentle and kind ” always. ” I having Hermitages before and after grew in my monastic vocation from his teachings becoming a better Monk today. He will be dearly missed by many as he gave his ” all ” just like St. Antony his patron saint.
Humbly with prayers,
Brother Justin Antony

Love you dad, and I’ll always be missing you until that day we see each other again. You were a good father. I’ll never forget our nights watching Nova and The Cosmos, our “camping” in the RV, Doolittle the dog, our talks about God, and so many more memories. You were one of the strongest influences on my faith, and I really liked up to you. I was always proud of you too. I regret not being able to say goodbye, but I’ll just say, “I’ll always love you, and I’ll see you later.”

Dear Anthony: While you were in your last hours, I was having a bone marrow biopsy and am now on a rasher of high tech pills. I still celebrate the Divine Liturgy in Private, and I will commemorate you this weekend. It was an honor to be one of your scholars.
Fr. Gregory Ned Blevins says
I just learned of Abba Anthony’s tragic death. May his memory be eternal. I had hoped to meet Abba in this life the next time I found my way to NE Montana. I am originally from Scobey and was pleased to know that there was an Independent/Old Catholic presence in that part of the country.
I will offer Mass soon for the repose of Abba and the Sister who died with him. May her memory be eternal as well.
