She is proceeded in death by her parents, a brother George Lake and a grandchild, Kevin.
Charlotte loved to play the piano and listen to her children and grandchildren sing. She taught them every nursery rhyme and also made a few of her own up.
Charlotte was an amazing cook and baker; she is well known for her pies, caramel rolls and homemade buns. Her recipes were all top secret, she never liked to share them with anyone.

What a loss to this world! But what a gain to heaven! I have many, many wonderful memories of being “part” of the Lake family as I was growing up. Charlotte and I used to sit at the piano and sing our hearts out. Such a bountiful bunch of fun and work…we could squeeze into one day! This is another lesson for not putting off until tomorrow what you should do today…always thought, “I will call her someday and run up to see her.” Now it will be in heaven! My sincere condolences to her large family and friends. Petrea Pedersen Martin-Rauch
