Glenda Sanders, age 69 of Glasgow, MT. died December 2, 2017 at home. Glenda was born October 26, 1948 in Grand Forks, ND., to Glenn Sanders and Lorna Hagen. Glenda grew up in Gilby, ND., where she graduated from high school. In 1979 Glenda moved to Glasgow and raised her two daughters.
Glenda was a modest person that loved family and spending time with them. She was the keeper of cleaning up Mother Earth here in Glasgow. She loved the simple things in life, like spending time with her daughters and grandchildren, watching TV, helping others in need, or just taking a stroll around town. She was very hard working and never complained about not having enough. A single mother of two, she was an inspiration to those who knew her best- always putting their needs first but teaching them to enjoy the little things in life.
Glenda is survived by two daughters Heather Sanders (Adam Hooper), and Shelly Sanders (Tim Milam); four grandchildren, Jada Buckman, Julia Buckman, Jack Milam, Jonah Milam; two sisters Sharon Burdett and Terry Johnson; and a special niece Tracy Sanders and her son Blayd Sanders. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, brother Gary Sanders and a great – nephew Damien Sanders.
A Memorial service will be held at 2PM, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Bell Mortuary. Memorials in honor of Glenda can be left at Bell Mortuary.

Thinking of Glenda’s family. Glasgow is a better place because of Her, and her dedication to its keeping it picked up will be missed by all.

Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one, Glenda. It breaks our hearts when death separates us from the ones we love so much. The Bible reminds us that God sees our pain and sadness and has promised that soon, “death will be swallowed up forever.” (Isaiah 25:8) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again. (John 6:40) Until then, I hope the beautiful memories of Glenda and these promises from God comfort you in the days to come.

Thinking of Glenda’s family, with sincere sympathy. Glasgow is a better place because of Glenda, and Her dedication to keeping it picked up and beautiful. This kind act will be missed by all.

My love and prayers go out to Glenda’s children and her siblings. I did not realize she has passed until I tried to find her or one of her siblings on the internet. I am her first cousin, Teressa. My mother was Lorraine, sister to Glenda’s father, Glenn. In going through my mother’s pictures, I found some pictures of Glenn and Lorna’s kids. I would like to pass them on to someone. I will leave my contact information with the mortuary. Again, our condolences to her family.
